Concerned Citizens for Jenny - Elephant Info Cross-posted
ATTEND AUGUST 20th at 2 P.M. (until 5 P.M.)
DALLAS CITY COUNCIL MEETING TO SAVE JENNY
Please attend each Wednesday's City Council meetings. The City is planning to ship Jenny the Dallas Zoo elephant to Mexico the first part of October, so we have very little time to save her. We urge you to attend as many of the next 5 or 6 City Council meetings as you possibly can to advocate for her retirement to The Elephant Sanctuary (TES).
This is a psychologically pivotal moment. We must take advantage of it by having as many of us present as possible. Jenny supporters attendence at City Council meetings is having a tremedous effect. Your specific presence will matter to Jenny!
Why:
We must show overwhelming and resolute community support for retiring Jenny to The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee. Our attendance at City Council is getting their attention. We must reinforce that ONLY RETIREMENT TO TES IS ACCEPTABLE. NO OTHER LOCATION IS APPROPRIATE FOR JENNY!What: Dallas City Council Briefing
When:
Wednesday, August 20 at 2 P.M. (until about 4:30 or 5 P.M.) Where:
Dallas City Hall, Council Chambers, 6th Floor (take the red or green elevators) 1500 Marilla Street, Dallas 75201-6390

The New Website is Up
Per the latest Bordeaux Village News, the HOA website is up, albeit still under construction. It's here: Bordeaux Village Home Owners Association.
There was a forum available when I first looked at it on Wednesday, but it seems to be gone now. I'll go ahead and keep the Yahoo! group running as long as necessary.
The new site has a lot of nice features including an option to pay HOA dues online and a section to download the latest newsletter in PDF format. Nice.
